Abstract
At the very beginning of the development of Chinese modem poetry,Lu Xun's new poetry presented a narrative pat- tern in its structure, with an invisible narrator who was in fact observing, scrutinizing and assessing under this structure. In this way,the new characteristics of Lu Xun's new poetry were reflected, which suggests that Lu Xun concerned about the sty- listic possibility and stylistic consciousness in his early new-style poetry. The construction of this new poetry genre different from the former old-style has a significant meaning. Its pioneering contribution is enlightening for us and provides us reference in the creation of new verse.
