An Analysis of the Narrative Characteristics Contemporary Poetry——Series Research on Chinese Contemporary Poetry II

Since 1990,the narrative characteristics of contemporary poetry has become more and more obvious.Based on the history of Chinese new poetry,this essay compares the narrative characteristics of modern poetry and contemporary poetry and points out that narrative,as a rhetoric device and a means for exploration,has made contemporary poetry closer to daily life,free from personal feeling or ambition and more concerned about the nonentities.Analyzing the narrative characteristics of contemporary poetry is helpful for the stage summarization of the Chinese poetic circle and perspective observation.
