Abstract
Several insecticides were tested to control sugarcane pests. The control effect of 40% Virtako water dispersible granule on the dead heart of sugarcane seedlings was prominent, followed by 5% MonosultapChlorpyrifos granules. The control effect of 0.4% Chlorantraniliprole granule and 40% Virtako water dispersible granule on sugarcane borer was prominent, followed by 30% Durui(a mixed suspension by Syngenta). All the tested pesticides were effect to control sugarcane foliar pests and 60% Imidacloprid was prominent. 0.4%Chlorantraniliprole granule + 70% Thiamethoxam was the most prominent on the effect to control underground pests.
