Abstract

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with Chinese moxibustion and pelvic floor muscle exercise in treating female stress urinary incontinence.Methods:70female cases were randomly allocated to two groups, each 35 cases. The treatment group was treated by combination of electroacupuncture,Chinese moxibustion and pelvic floor muscle exercise, and the control group was treated by traditional acupuncture. The therapeutic effects were evaluated and compared after treatment. Results:After three courses of treatment, the efficacy rate was 94.3%in the treatment group with 23 cured cases,10 improved cases and 2inefficient cases, which was significantly higher than 54.3% in the control group,10 cured,9improved,16inefficient(P0.05).Conclusion:There is a unique treatment effect for female stress urinary incontinence by electroacupuncture combined with Chinese moxibustion and functional training.
