Abstract
In the poems about Western Region in the Qing Dynasty,it can be seen that government thoughts are clearly reflected in the p.oems during the unification of Xinjiang.The unique poetic tastes and artistic thoughts show the Dynasty's border government thoughts and policies: unification,government in line with the local customs,benefit-punishment tactics,and border strengthening by reclamation.
