Abstract
Objective To discuss the effect of Shuangbosan for the treatment of mechanical phlebitis induced by PICC. Methods 63 patients with mechanical phlebitis after PICC catheter were randomly divided into the treatment group(30 cases) and the control group(33 cases) ,besides the conventional methods of catheter care,the treatment group was given Shuangbosan to smear in the affected area,the control group was applied with 50% MgSO4. Results The effect of Shuangbosan for the treatment of mechanical phlebitis induced by PICC was better than that in control group(P 0.01) . Conclusions The effect of Shuangbosan for the treatment of mechanical phlebitis is distinctly better than the application of 50% MgSO4. The experiment results indicate that Shuangbosan can not only protect the damaged vein,but also advance the renovation of machanism phletitis induced by PICC.
