Analysis of Prognosis of 34 Cases of Cellular Uterine Leiomyoma

Objective: To study the prognosis of cellular uterine leiomyoma. Method: 34 cases of cellular uterine leiomyoma were included in this study,7 of which were mitotically active leiomyoma. Their pathological and clinical data and prognoses were analysed. Results: The clinical process of cellular uterine leiomyoma was similar to uterine myoma, which was benign and responded well to treatments. For those with mitotically active leiomyoma, however, follow-up survey and observation should be emphasized. Conclusion: Cellular uterine leiomyoma can be misdiagnosised as sarcoma of uterus. Correct diagnosis depends on the careful examination and analysis of the pathological data.
