Kidney-Nourishing and Blood-Activationg Therapy for Chronic Renal Insufficiency in 30Cases

Abstract

To study the treatment method and clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic renal failure(CRF),self-madeKidney-Nourishing and Blood-Activating Decoctionand enema were employed to treat 30 cases(treatment group),and another 30 cases(control group)were treated by oxyamyli tectus aldehydum.They were treated for 3 months and their symptoms and kidney functions were observed.Results:In treatment group,the rate was 96 6% in improving clincal symptoms and 76 0% in improving kidney function,higher than the corresponding rates in control group(P0 05～0 01).It is indicated that kidney-nourishing and blood-activating therapy is effective against CRF.
