Abstract
Linalyl acetate was synthesized by reaction distillation technology without additional catalyst. Various factors such as n (linalool)∶ n(acetic anhydride),reaction time and n(entrainer)∶ n(linalool)which would influence the reaction were investigated.The results showed that the yield of the product could reach 76 9% under the conditions that n (linalool)∶ n(acetic anhydride)≤1 0∶2 5,reaction time≥20 h and n(entrainer)∶ n(linalool)=2 0∶1 0. At the same time,GC-MS spectrum was used to characterize the product.The MS spectrum of the product comformed with the standard spectrum of linalyl acetate.
