Abstract
The harmonic pollution becomes serious in power system.It is an important trend to resolve harmonic pollution by using active power filter.In this paper the principle of active power are introduced and the ip-iq harmonic current detection based on instantaneous reactive power theory have been analyzed.The simulation model with the soft of Matlab/SIMULINK was set up and simulation results were given.The simulation results show the APF has good characteristic of harmonic compensation.
