Abstract
Color words,affected by traditional culture,possess vivid emotional color and cultural connotation in both English and Chinese.For discussion purposes,the paper sorts them into two categories: when translated from Chinese to English,the cultural connotation is different,while when translated from English to Chinese,the cultural connotation is also different.
