Abstract
A new catalytic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of copper was developed. The method was based on copper catalytic action on discoloring reaction of amido black 10B oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in NaOH medium. The optimum conditions and the kinetic parameters of this reaction were studied. The linear range is 0-30 ng/mL for copper. The detection limit is 3.5×10~(-10) g/mL.The method has been applied to the determination of trace amounts of copper in soybean and hair samples with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
