Abstract
Objective To study the curative effect of butylphthalide and acupuncture combined with hyperbaric oxygen on the treatment of delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning. Methods 120 cases patients were randomly divided into treatment group and the control group(n=60). In hyperbaric oxygen treatment group, apart from the conventional treatment butylphthalide soft capsule were given orally 3 times a day and 200 mg / time together with acupuncture treatment, while the control group was given routine hyperbaric oxygen treatment. Results Statistical analysis showed that after treatment the treatment group cure rate and total effective rate were significantly better than those in control group(P0.05). In the treatment group, simple intelligent scale score and electroencephalogram(eeg) results were significantly different from those of the control group(P0.05); in the treatment group the MMSE score was significantly improved and eeg abnormal rate was significantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusion Butylphthalide and acupuncture combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy in patients with delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning can improve therapeutic effect and quality of life, has the good clinical application value and is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
