Abstract
Objective To investigate the retaining time of orotracheal intubation and nasotracheal intubation and compare the rate of tracheotomy after intubation in two groups.Methods Forty-two cases were randomly divided into two groups,24 cases in orotracheal intubation group,and 18 cases in nasotracheal intubation group,guided by bronchofibroscope.The retaining time of tube and the rate of tracheotomy after intubation was compared.Results The retaining time of tube in nose was significant longer than that in mouth.The rate of tracheotomy after nasotracheal intubation was less than that after orotracheal intubation.Conclusion Brochofibroscopic nasotracheal intubation is effective and has long retaining time,and part patients with nasotracheal intubation can avoid tracheotomy.
