Investigation on the Prevalence of Hypertension,Hyperlipidemia and Hyperglycemia among Employees of State-owned Large Enterprise in Dongying City in 2006

[Objective]To understand the prevalence of hypertension,hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia among employees of a state-owned large enterprise in Dongying city.[Methods]Blood pressure,blood lipid and fasting serum glucose were tested for the employees selected with cluster sampling method from a state-owned large enterprise in Dongying city.[Results]The detection rate of hypertension,hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia was 24.90%,37.94% and 9.49% respectively.The detection rate of the abnormality in 2 items and 3 items was 17.85% and 3.35%.The detection rate of hypertension,hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia was higher in male than in female or equal to female,except the detection rate of hyperlipidemia was higher in female group aged over 60 than that in male group.The detection rate of hypertension increased with the increase of the age in male group aged from 20 to 69,female group aged from 20 to 59(P0.01).There was a difference.The detection rate of hyperlipidemia increased along with the increase of the age in male group aged from 20 to 49,female group aged from 20 to 69(P0.01).There was a difference.The detection rate of hyperglycemia increased along with the increase of the age in male group aged from 20 to 59,female group aged from 40 to 69(P0.01).There was a difference.[Conclusion]Prevention of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases was unoptimistic among employees in a state-owned large enterprise in Dongying city.The detection rate of hypertension,hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia was different in different aged group with different sex.
