Abstract
The composition and properties of continuous basalt fiber are summarized, and an overview on the developments of basalt fiber at home and abroad as well as the research and applications of basalt fiber reinforced cement, asphalt, resin composites and basalt fiber/other fiber composites in various sectors is presented.
