Progress of Study on the Preparation of Basalt Fibet and Composite Material of Basalt Fiber

The requirements of composition of raw material for basalt fiber and the structures of basalt fiber are introduced in this paper. The advantages of basalt fiber are detailed enumerated. The present status and study progress method and equipment exploitation of producing basalt fiber and using basalt fiber to make composite material are expatiated.
