Abstract

In order to provide the theoretical basis and technical base for the roof disaster prevention and control under the seam geological conditions with a mining depth of 200 m,based on the mining practices of the 2301 coal mining face in Yuyang Mine,with the site actual information summarization and the theoretical analysis method,the paper analyzed and calculated the main roof initial pressure and the pe- riodical pressure under the geological and mining conditions.The research showed that the roof of the coal mining face in Yuyang Mine was a flate type structure breaking.The initial pressure distance of the main roof was large and the hard roof in the goaf could form a large roof pressure,which would cause a hurricane to the safety mining production of the coal mining face.Therefore,a forced roof caving should be conducted to the roof during the initial mining period.The roof caving measure applied was a pre-eraeking blasting technology with deep boreholes to ensure the roof safety of the coal mining face during the initial mining period.
