Abstract
This paper expounds the basic principle of network traffic monitoring,introduces in RadHad Enerprinse LinuxAS5 environment using MRTG design and realize the flow monitoring system,using this system of network by the flux,and connecting with the reality of the system applied in the campus network were analyzed and summarized.This system monitoring application so that network administrator can intuitive effectively running state about network,promptly eliminate network fault and reasonable use of bandwidth assigned to each port,which greatly improve the efficiency of the network operation.
