Abstract
Before inoculation with TMV some days, the tobacco treated with chitosan-oligosaccharides was tested in inhibition to TMV and its effect on defensive enzymes. The results indicated that the inhibition rate was up to 79.10% in Nicotiana glutinosa on 10~(th) day and the control effect was 32.41% in Nicotiana tobaccum cv.NC89 on 10~(th)day.The activity of PAL,POD,PPO,SOD and the content of the solubility of protein was increased with various degrees. So it can prove that the chitosan-oligosaccharides can induce the resistance of tobacco to TMV,thereby it can strengthen the immunity of tobacco.
