Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the feasibility of extracting clove oil by SFE-CO2. METHODS: The optimum extraction conditions were determined. The separating potⅠconditions were firstly discussed. The quality evaluation was conducted. The chemical constituents of extracts of SFE-CO2 method and steam distillation method were compared and analyzed by GC-MS. RESULTS: The yield of SFE-CO2 method was 15% and the yield of distillation was 4%. The contents of clove oil by supercritical CO2 and distilled extraction were determined by GC-MS analysis, 11 and 8 kinds of compounds were identified selectively. CONCLUSION: The SFE-CO2 fluid extraction has higher efficiencies, which is supreme to traditional extraction.
