Abstract
Eight compounds were obtained from pomegranate seeds by the means of silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography.these compounds were identified as matairesinoside(Ⅰ),arctiin (Ⅱ),2α-hydroxy-3 β-hydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid(Ⅲ),ursolic acid (Ⅳ),oleanolic acid (Ⅴ),gallic acid(Ⅵ),β-sitosterol (Ⅶ),daucosterol (Ⅷ).
