Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical effects of treating congestive heart failure with Meglumine Cyclic Adenosine. Methods: 100 inpatients with congestive heart failure (cardiac function NYHA Ⅲ - Ⅳ classes) were assigned randomly into two groups, the treatment group (50 cases) and the control group (50 cases). The treatment group was treated with MCA (150-180mg) in 5% dextrose(250ml)introvenously, once a day. The treatment for the control group was similar to that for the treatment group except MCA. Results: After a week's treatment, the total clinical effective rates for each group are 94% and 72% (P0.001). Conclusions: MCA is a new effective medicine in treatment of congestive heart failure
