Abstract

As the development of the Microelectronics, FPGA and CPLD make a big progress in EDA. System designers can greatly shorten the period of the ASIC by designing ASIC themselves. The author summarizes the characteristic and difference of FPGA and CPLD, and introduces the design flow, also analyzes the advantages and foreground.
