Abstract
Chinese faces the first light of day of superiority of the Chinese characters after experiencing almost one-hundred years of the lagging theory. These two complete contrary views make us think deeply: (n the high-speed developing information society, how should we treat the impacts of Chinese character input on the Chinese character itself and its development which indicates the Chinese national culture? With the diachronic view, this paper makes a comprehensive survey of the history of the development of Chinese and gives a profound analysis of influences of Chinese character input on the development of Chinese characters.
