Abstract
Objective: To explore the current situation and development trend of the equity of health resource allocation in Liaoning. Methods: The Gini coefficient and Theil index are used to analyze and evaluate the equity of health resource allocation from 2006 to 2010 in Liaoning. Results: Gini coefficient of Liaoning health resource according to the population distribution is under 0.2,the Gini coefficient is between 0.3 among 0.4 according to geographical distribution;the total Theil index of health resource allocation varys between 0.005 1 and 0.025 9.Theil index within the region is greater than inter-regional Theil index. Conclusion: The equity of health resource allocation according to the population distribution is superior than that of equity according to geographical distribution.Regional injustice is the main reason.
