Abstract
The synthesis technology of magnesium acetate were reviewed respectively to use metal magnesium,magnesium nitrate,magnesium carbonate,magnesium hydroxide,magnesium oxide,magnesium chloride as raw materials.The application status on the magnesium acetate as catalyst,analysis reagent,organic synthetic intermediate,snowmelt agent,feed additives,modifier,medicine,and precursor of preparation of nanometer magnesium oxide were introduced in detail.The magnesium acetate will find broad of application and development in industry.
