Abstract
The synthesis technology of magnesium oxalate were reviewed respectively to use metal magnesium,magnesium hydroxide,magnesium nitrate,magnesium sulfate,magnesium chloride,magnesium acetate as raw ma terials.The application status on the magnesium oxalate as catalyst and precursor of preparation of magnesium alu minate spinel and nanometer magnesium oxide were introduced in detail.The magnesium oxalate will find broad of application and development in industry.
