Abstract
All narrative works have narrators,who mediate between readers and stories.This is characteristic of narrative works.Where traditional narrator identifies with writer outside text,the narrator in narratology is separated from author after constructiveness of meaning.The constructiveness of language and reader is highlighted.However,what is relationship between narrator and writer? The German narrative criticism debated fiercely about it in 1950s,and terms such as the spirit of novel,function of narration came out.This article purports to analyze term of narrator in German narrative criticism.
