On Piano Works of Chinese Style: A Case Study of "Liu Sanjie Fantasia"

Piano works of Chinese style,containing rich folk music culture and expressing special folk music connotation,inherit the long tradition of Chinese music culture.In piano teaching,many students in normal universities are keen on performing foreign piano works while rejecting learning Chinese piano works because of their ignorance and fear of the music connotation and the special performance skill of the piano works of Chinese style.To perform piano works of national style,one should have an insight into the cultural connotation of folk music,experience the innovation and demonstrate the charm of folk music.In this respect,the performance of Liu Sanjie Fantasia is a typical example.
