Abstract

It proposed a whole process analysis method for compressive damage process after the impact of woven composites using the 3D progressive damage theory and analysis technique. It developed a simulation program which can predict the impact, post impact damage status and progressive compressive strength damage processes and ultimate failure load of any woven composites based on the MSC.NASTRAN finite element code.
