Abstract
Using MSDP-dm analysis software,368 earthquake events occurred in Guangdong province and its neighbor areas between January,2000 and June,2007 are analyzed. The deviation, mean deviation and standard deviation between each single station's magnitude and the network's mean magnitude are calculated. The factors to cause the magnitude deviation such as instrument, gauge function and station base are also analyzed. The result shows that the influence caused by different types of instruments is not obvious to magnitude deviation and remarkable to gauge function deviation. The gauge function deviation is negative when the epicentral distance is from 0 to 60 km,very small from 60~380 km and positive more than 380 km.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
