Abstract
In view of the problems and defects existing in process of resource reserve estimation in the first batch of the national mineral resources potential assessment project(MRPAP) in China,the experience and methods for process of resource reserve estimation is systematically summarized according to the results and practice of the tibetan mineral resources potential assessment project.Processes and methods of resource reserve estimation in MRPAP are further improved,and the paper presents guideline and method of determining parameters in the Metallogenic geologic body volume method,such as acreage,down dip extension,similarity coefficient.Base on the combination of resource reserve estimation method in MRPAP with the results and practice of the Tibetan MRPAP,Prediction auxiliary system of geologic volume method(PASV) is programmed by using VBA,which is a auxiliary software toolkit for resource reserve estimation.It has been confirmed that the PASV can well applied in resource reserve estimation of MRPAP,and it is expected to provide help and reference significance for the new batch of the national mineral resources potential assessment project in China and other relevant mineral exploration and prediction.
