Abstract
Evaluation of the uncertainty in mineral resource potential assessment,which is an important component of mineral resource exploration,consists of estimation of the number of deposits,grade and tonnage as well as resource amount.In this paper,the state of art of sources of uncertainty and handling methods in mineral resource potential assessment is summarized and the fuzzy sets are used to evaluate of uncertainty in estimating the number of deposits,grade,tonnage as well as the resourceamount.
