Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of arthroscopic debridement combined with intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate on the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods We quantified the clinical symptoms of pain, tenderness, swelling and dysfunction and made them as therapeutic evaluation indices. A total of sixty cases were collected and treated with arthroscopic debridement first and then intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate(2 mL) once a week. Thirty cases were collected as control group treated with intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate(2 mL) only. It was a course of treatment in five weeks. Results The cure rate and effective rate were 51.7 % and 96.7 % respectively for the treatment group and 40.0 % and 80.0 % respectively for the control group, and the efficacy of treatment group was significantly better than that of control group(P0.05), and every item in the evaluation indices for the treatment group before and after therapy showed significant difference(P0.05). ConclusionArthroscopic debridement combined with intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate on the treatment of knee osteoarthritis can have a significant curative effect and be worthy of promotion.
