Abstract
In this paper,we determined the contents of metal elements, such as Fe,Mn,Ca,Mg,K,Zn,Cu and Na,in Dioscorea Opposita samples of the same variety from different producing areas by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The results showed that all of the samples contained the eight metal elements, the recovery was between 92.71% and 100.19%,and RSD was between 0.27% and 1.96%.The contents of metal elements in the Dioscorea Opposita samples from different producing areas were different;and the content of metal elements in Dioscorea Opposita sample from Wenxian Henan was highest in comparison with other samples.
