Abstract
To investigate the characteristics of Dioscorea opposita Thunb.,inorganic elements presented in the same variety of Dioscorea opposita in the different producing areas were analyzed.The analyses on the inorganic elements of soil and Dioscorea opposita were made by ICP-AES.The enrichment ability and the content of inorganic elements were different in the different producing areas; the contents of Cu, Nb and Ga were the highest and the enrichment ability of P, Sr, Zn, Cu, K and Na was beyond that in the Dioscorea opposita in the nonauthentic producing areas.
