Abstract
From the Lulin Revolt,the Chimei Revolt of Western Han Dynasty to the Huangjin Revolt of Eastern Han Dynasty,the Eastern Han Dynasty had experienced the process which was from resurgence to corruption.With the increasing social crisis,a large-scale social critical thought broke out.It profoundly exposed the darkness of the society at that time and proposed rational reflection to the power construction of the Eastern Han Dynasty.From four aspects,i.e.the renowned century-passing families,trouble in the border regions,despotism of family members in the wife's or mother's side and eunuchs,decline of the classics circle,this article attempts to discuss the reasons for the emergence of the social critical thought in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
