Abstract
Transesterification of soybean oil catalyzed by Novozym RM IM for biodiesel production was studied in this paper. The production rate of transesterification was also studies by analyzing free glycerol. The optimal conditions were obtained for the transesterification on the basis of tota1 glycerin content change before and after reaction: 6% water content, molar ratio of methanol to oil 4∶1,reaction time 12 hours, reaction temperature 45 ℃,and the way of adding methanol to add three times in the reaction system, which could receive greatest yield at 45.2%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
