Abstract
Objective: To establish a method for measuring the contents of osthole in compound Kushen cream by HPLC. Methods: The separation was carried out on Turner C18 column(200 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm). Acetonitrile-water(65:35) was used as a mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. The detection wavelength was set at 322 nm. Results: The linear range of osthole was within 0.49~49 μg/mL(r=0.999 9), the average recovery was 96.33% (RSD=2.80%, n=6) and the average content of osthole in compound Kushen cream is 56.11 μg/g.Conclusion: This method is simple, fast and accurate, and it is suitable for the determination of osthole in compound Kushen cream.
