Study of Chongqing municipal macro-investment efficiency based on industrial structure perspective

A large amount of investment promotes rapid growth of the economy of Chongqing,and investment efficiency determines the constant speed of economic growth of Chongqing.The analysis of ICOR index indicated that,since Chongqing became the municipality directly under central government,investment efficiency is not high and has the trend of deterioration.On the viewpoint of industrial structure,the reason for this phenomenon is mainly that industrial structure is incongruous,and that the investment on the primary industry is weak,that investment on the tertiary industry efficiency is low but takes up a large amount of capital,that although the investment efficiency of the secondary industry is higher than the tertiary industry,there is very large promotion space.The countermeasure for optimizing investment structure and raising investment efficiency is to strengthen the basic construction investment of primary industry;to make overall plans and to coordinate the investment on the secondary industry,to optimize the structure of investment inside the industry,to develop the productive service industries,and to raise investment efficiency of the real estate and the government utility.
