Abstract

In the teaching practice of higher mathematics, economic mathematics and other disciplines, manual drawing is both time-consuming and ineffective, while in the multimedia teaching environment, the pre-drawn images save time but the image-drawing process cannot be demonstrated to the students and the students lose the opportunity to watch the process. The employment of the mathematical software Mathematica can solve this long-existent puzzling problem. This article, with the help of the mathematical software Mathematica,by drawing various function images, reveals the methods of drawing graphics of common unary function, binary function, and exemplifies how to realize intuitive teaching effects.
