Abstract

Using refitted pin-on-disc friction and wear tester, the effect of current on tribological characteristics of QCr0.5/T2 rubbing pairs were examined. Results show that the electrical current is the important effect factor on tribological properties with electrical current, friction coefficient and wear rate increase with current intensity augment whereas decrease with velocity increase. The most wear form is adhesive wear and electric wear.
