Abstract

Samples of gastropoda were identified in the intertidal zone in Naozhou Island of Guangdong Province. These comprise 123 species, 71 genere and 36 families. There is a wide ecological distribution of gastropoda, which inhabits in the tropics and subtropics of the South China Sea.Besides, it is a significant part of Molluscum in the South China Sea. The quantities and the distribution areas of these species, which have high economic values, tend to be on the decrease.
