Abstract
Application of multi- thread synchronous mechanism to make full use of system resource is one of the important features of Windows. Multi-thread mechanism and synchronous object in Windows NT is analyzed, and communication between application and device driver with sharing event object through using synchronic event in developing communication program of detecting instrument and photoelectric measure device are presented in detail. The principle and specific designing steps are given and how to develop the hardware device driver in Windows NT i- introduced.
