Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of four blood coagulation indexes tests of pregnant women with pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH). Methods One hubdred and eighteen cases of PIH (diagnosed in health department of our hospital from May 2007 to May 2009)and 207 cases of normal pregnant women were divided into the experimental group and control group, respectively, and in both groups, the four blood coagulation indexes tests were carried out. Results The proth-rombin time (PT)and anginal partial thromboplastin time (APTT)of pregnant women with PIH was significantly shorter, than normal pregnant women (P0.05), but the level of fibrinogen (FIB)of pregnant women with PIH was significantly higher (P0.05). In the 118 cases of PIH, there were 61 mild cases (51.6%), 36 moderate cases (30.5%), 21 severe cases (17.9%), the the severity of PIH were positively correlated with the results of PT and APTT, but negatively correlated with the results of FIB, analyzed with Spearman bivariate correlation analysis. Conclusion The blood of pregnant women with PIH was in hypercoagulability, and the four blood coagulation indexes tests can play an important role in diagnosing the severity of PIH.
