Abstract
With the cultural turn in translation studies,translation researchers have been doing elaborate researches on the translator's subjectivity from different theoretical perspectives,which consolidates the position of translators and their subjectivity.Meanwhile,the translator's power of manipulating the original,is more often than not overemphasized.This paper first probes into the previous studies about the connotation of translators' subjectivity,then through an analysis of a questionnaire compares and discusses the readers' knowledge and acceptance of translators' subjectivity,thus accordingly maintaining that there must be restrictive factors and limitations for the translator's subjectivity.
