The Key of Sustainable Development of Regional Economy: Adjustment of Industrial Structure

The transformation of industrial structure is regarded as an important factor in promoting economic growth. It is also a key of sustainable development of regional economy. Therefore, in order to eradicate the deformed industrial structure and the low level production surplus, the pace of industrial structure adjustment and process of urbanization must be quickened, and in the meantime, the development of leading industries must also be pushed forward actively, that is not all, the vitality of enterprises must be boosted, too. Only on the basis of all these factors and directed by the theory of economic polarization development can we resolve various problems which are stemmed from the maladjustment of industrial structure, and make the middle and western economy get a flying start and catch up with that of the east.
