Abstract

This paper analyses the revenge stories in the Records of Historian(written by Sima Qian) all_roundly, such as the content, characteristics, literary value. etc As far as these stories are concerned, some are true and some are fictional. They not only authentically expressed the author's revenge emotions, but also showed the revenge culture before Emperor Wu in the Han Dynasty in an all_round way, and influenced the development of the later revenge culture greatly.
