Abstract
Objective This study was to explore the inhibition effect and the potential mechanism of C225 on CNE cells.Methods MTT chromometry and Cell morphological assessment were both used to observe the growth inhibition of CNE cells treated by C225,transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and flow cytometry(FCM) were also used to detect the cells apoptosis.Results MTT assay indicated that CNE cells growth were significantly inhibited in a dose-dependent manner by C225,and the concentration of 48 h IC20~30 was 10 μg/mL.Treating CNE with this concentration,typical morphological changes under inverted-microscope and TEM were observed and FCM further showed that the apoptotic rates of 24,48 h were(14.30±0.78)% and(15.30±0.95)% respectively(P0.05,compared with the control group).Conclusion C225 could significantly inhibit the growth of CNE cells,possibly through the induction of apoptosis.
